Grant Programs

National Grants

MEAF offers National Grants to nonprofit organizations that are helping to promote the full inclusion of youth with disabilities in society.

Employee-driven Grants

The Foundation also supports two employee-driven grant programs:

Adult helping a small girl with a craft

Matching Grants enable Mitsubishi Electric US company employees to direct charitable contributions in their communities. Each participating company location receives an annual allocation of Matching Grant funds from the Foundation to match contributions of cash, products, and volunteer time from the company and employees. For each dollar donated in the form of cash or products, MEAF donates up to two dollars to an eligible nonprofit organization. MEAF also contributes $10 for each hour volunteered at eligible organizations by employees and their families.

Starfish Matches, MEAF's Matching Gifts program, matches individual employee contributions. These funds are available to match personal donations to nonprofit organizations serving young people with disabilities. The donations are matched dollar for dollar for a minimum of $25 and a maximum of $500 per employee per year.

Mitsubishi Electric US employees can learn more about these programs at MEAFnet.
