Matching Grants

The Matching Grants program enables Mitsubishi Electric US company employees to direct charitable contributions and initiate volunteer programs in their communities.

Each participating MEUS company location receives an annual allocation of Matching Grant funds from the Foundation to match contributions of cash, products, and volunteer time from the company and employees. For each dollar donated in the form of cash or products, MEAF donates up to two dollars to an eligible nonprofit organization.

MEAF also contributes $10 for each hour volunteered at eligible organizations by employees and their families.

Mitsubishi Electric's committees are making changes for the better

At all of the principal Mitsubishi Electric US company locations, employees have formed committees to guide charitable contributions and volunteer activities to support their local communities. Each committee has its own name and unique identity. Some locations focus exclusively on the Foundation's mission of helping young people with disabilities, while others contribute to additional areas of need. Together, the committees comprise the Mitsubishi Electric Organized Volunteer Efforts - MOVE.
