“People with disabilities used to only be able to see the world out of a car window and we want to bring them out of the car,” Zimmer said. Now thanks to a three-year $122,000 grant from Mitsubishi Electric America Foundation, the Utah Conservation Corps is giving people with disabilities who enjoy the outdoors and opportunity to give back to their community.
