NOTICE

Due to the sharp drop in endowment assets and number of already committed grants for next year, the Mitsubishi Electric America Foundation is not accepting any new unsolicited grant requests at this time. We regret the necessity of this measure. MEAF remains committed to helping young people with disabilities maximize their potential and participation in society, and looks forward to resuming full grantmaking as soon as conditions permit.

While we are temporarily not accepting new grant requests, qualified organizations are welcome to submit concept papers outlining ideas for grants for future projects that fall within the Foundation's priorities and guidelines.

How To Apply

The first step in applying for a grant from the Mitsubishi Electric America Foundation is to determine if your organization and project meets the Foundation's funding priorities and guidelines.

Due to the small size of the Foundation staff, applicants are strongly discouraged from phoning during the application process. Please see Frequently Asked Questions for answers to common questions.

After determining if your organization meets MEAF's criteria you are welcome to submit a short concept paper for preliminary review. Concept papers are accepted throughout the year. See the Funding Cycle information at the right for deadline and award information.

Concept papers may be submitted online, by mail, or by fax.

If you need assistance, please contact us using the MEAF email form.
